Swim Season

With summer right around the corner that means it's my favorite time...swimsuit shopping! I have a slight obsession with buying swimwear. You name it, I love it. Swimsuits, cover-ups, beach bags, hats, sunglasses, SPF, the list goes on! I'm really a fashionable beach bum at heart.

Chicago Lost & Found Event

This is the event of the spring season my friends!

The Chicago Lost and Found Big Picture Soiree. There's fabulous food, drinks and a shop-a-thon!

Chicago Lost and Found is a not-for-profit organization committed to art education and inspiring creativity throughout the city. This organization re-purposes materials that otherwise become landfill, creating unusual art, fashion and functional furnishings. Sales from creations assist in funding art education throughout Chicago.
“Where most people see trash, I see possibility” says Mitchell Pennell, founder and creative director. 

The most recent creation is the clutch bag. This amazing bag is fabricated from once fashionable men's trousers or designer fabric samples headed for the trash.

Entry-way

 My apartment is still a work in progress. I'm always finding inspiration and trying to find ways to add a little new life into the place without spending a fortune. I came across this idea for an entry-way on pinterest. It's IKEA! I could hardly stand it...so that weekend I took the boyfriend and we headed to the nearest Ikea in search of this bookshelf. Success!

Denver

I just spent a fabulous weekend in Denver, Colorado. My sister and I headed to the mountains to visit my cousin and explore all the fabulous things Denver has to offer. We had the most amazing time dining out, visiting the Red Rocks, antiquing and just sitting around chatting. These are some of my favorite moments from the trip!

Over the last couple of years I have started a major collection of maxi dresses. They are my go to for fashionable travel, chic brunch wear, a day of shopping, etc. I love how easy they are to throw on with some sandals and accessories then you're out the door.
