Fab. Forever Finds

I stopped by Forever 21 and found a great, great dress!

It's got allover lace with a defined waist that is perfect to add a belt to. The back has an exposed gold zipper to give it a little edge and it's got a flouncy skirt that's girly and playful. It really reminds me of a vintage dress but this one doesn't have the vintage dress price, it's only $24.80!

Stock up for the summer, next summer, your family, your friends, who doesn't want $1 flip flops? Some stores are opening early so be sure to get there right away if you plan to stock up...I have a feeling it's going to be crazy with flip flops flying everywhere!

Romp On

I love a great romper when I find one and I have found another!

This romper has a great elastic waistband to show off your tiny waist and the tank is slouchy to give an over sized look. It also has a great neckline to add a fab. necklace. The bow pockets are my favorite! What really takes this romper to the next level is that the print is mini polka dots. It's hard to tell in this photo but the purple has pink dots and the light pink features black dots. This is super girly at its best! Wear some wedges and show off those legs!

Jelly Shoes!

I remember when I was a kid and how I loved jelly shoes. I had them in a few different colors and they were what I wore all summer long. These Chinese Laundry shoes take me back to my favorite childhood shoes...oh the memories. The Sweet Caroline jelly slip on peep toe shoe's, were found at Lori's Shoes. It comes in three colors and is under $50 so you can pickup a couple if you can't decide on just one! The bow is made of velvet to give it a girly touch, these are the perfect shoes to add some color to any outfit.

Dresses Galore

I've said it before and I'll say it again...dresses are my summer staple. I wear them to work, shopping, brunches, out at night, just about anywhere and everywhere. It gets super hot in the city once the temps start to rise and having to do so much walking I like to stay as cool as possible while still having great style. I've added a couple more dresses to my wardrobe and they are fabulous H&M finds!

First up is a fun color block trapeze dress. The front is all hook and eye loops, which is an amazing detail I haven't seen done in a long time. The dress also has side pockets and it's really flowy and fabulous. I'll pair it with some wedges or flat sandals depending on the day. Stack up some bracelets and I'm good to go! Can't wait to wear this one!

Another trapeze dress... but this one is the brightest pink/orange combo with a tan it's going to look amazing. It features some front pockets and it will look really great belted to add some shape or I can wear it as is and pair with some great shoes and accessories.

This spring I'm really into wedges, they are easy to walk around in and quite comfortable while still giving you a fabulous look. These Espadrille wedges are a great! They are under $30 which is amazing and I actually have a similar style but it doesn't have the knotted strap. I love them! You can create a fun look with the lace up around the ankle. I highly suggest! Online they have a few different colors and patterns and when I stopped by an Old Navy store this weekend they had a good selection as well.

Dressed up

Did a little shopping yesterday around the city and I stopped into Forever 21, didn't find much except this wonderful one shoulder number. I picked it up in black but it also came in this blue and a hot pink. I love the one shoulder with the large rosettes. It's a perfect dress to wear to one of the upcoming weddings I have. It was also under $30 so you can't beat that!

This spring I have really started to love Maxi dresses, they are effortlessly chic. This type of dress is perfect for a day of shopping, a city brunch or even travelling. I'm always looking for new styles of Maxi dresses and I found this fabulous one on pinkice.com. I love the drawstring empire waist and the color blocking looks like its bleeding into the other like watercolors, very pretty and unique. Throw on some flat sandals and you're all set!

Swim Season - Coverup

UPDATE: Just got this yesterday and its a bit more sheer than I anticipated, but I love it!

It will be perfect on the cruise to cover up while on the pool deck!

Victoria's Secret always has some great swimsuit options, they just added a bunch of new styles today and the swim sale is pretty good too FYI. Today I found a fabulous cover-up that I can't wait to throw on while at the beach. It's simple yet sexy with deep sides (pictured below) it comes in white, black and turquoise. I'm planning to buy the white. It's made in a great comfortable slub cotton and will be the perfect thing to throw on while I head to get another margarita!

Polished

Sometimes you need to do something a little different to change up your look. For some its coloring your hair or buying a new outfit, but sometimes when you don't have that cash flow a quick fix is to change up your nails. There is a great product out there that doesn't require getting a manicure. The Nicole by OPI, Nic's Sticks are an amazing invention. I know it has been on the market for a little while but I just gave it a try and I'm a believer!

You simply pump the polish tube a few times, the color comes out into the brush and you're ready to paint. There's no dipping back into the bottle with wet nails to get your second coat. It's really easy to use, the color is great and it's perfect for travelling and doing touch ups on the go.

A friend of mine has been painting one of her nails a different color than the rest and it inspired me to give it a try. So I did a metallic silver polish on nine nails and did one finger 'Text Me' Pink from Nicole by OPI. It's a little pop of color! Next time you're at the drug store be sure to give it a try for around $7.00.

Shiny Sparkle

I spent a good portion of my Sunday wandering around Soho looking for a necklace for an upcoming wedding. I decided to save myself some money and re-wear a dress rather than buy something new. So I have a couple of options of what I'm going to wear. The current dress in the lead is a hot pink strapless number with a sweetheart neckline. I plan to accessorize with a fabulous necklace and today on Gilt Groupe I found one that might just do the trick, its big, bold and bad ass!

Clutch Time

I'm always in search of fun bags to wear when I go out and Nasty Gal has one I love!

It's a giant bow purse that can be worn cross body since it has a long strap or remove the straps and use as a clutch. The bow is over sized and is a gorgeous periwinkle blue color. If you're like me and wear a lot of black and white this is the perfect bag to add to your outfit for a pop of color. It also has a lot of storage space inside zippers, pockets, etc.

Zac Posen for Target

Last night included a little trip to Target and to my surprise the store was loaded with tons of Zac Posen for Target! I missed out on buying online due to my vacation. I browsed around and saw amazing stuff but the price was a bit more than what I wanted to pay for some of it. There were dresses, red leather jackets, tanks, tops, etc. I went with the Tiger Print Tank it's bright and bold and will look perfect tucked into a high waisted skirt, with leggings oh the options! The tank is sold out online (sad) but if you are in the New York area head to the Atlantic Ave. store in Brooklyn!

Doing my weekly browse on Forever21.com and I've found some goodies!

Oh forever 21 how I love you...

This top is bright and fun, perfect with some skinny jeans and to really stand out wear this top with white jeans. It's got an exposed zipper in the back which is always a great detail.

Must Have!

I have to have this top! It's a sexy over sized top with some amazing detail and its black and white, it was meant to be! The lattice detail at the neckline is unique and shows a bit of skin, this is on my must have list! Doesn't ship until 6/3 but it's worth the wait!

Alice + Olivia for Payless

I stopped in at Payless shoes today to pickup my black and white Alice + Olivia for Payless shoes that I had to special order...grr. Anyways, while waiting I noticed some new shoes added to the Alice + Olivia for Payless display, one pair immediately jumped out at me. They are super girly and so amazingly fabulous! The color is a perfect pink/champagne and they have a super high platform to give you some extra height. The bow hits the middle of your foot and really stands out, they will be perfect with a dress or anything showing leg and even skinny jeans since the bow is low enough. I didn't buy but I'm seriously thinking about it...
