I'm always looking for statement making necklaces. This one is fun and bold. I like the lucite and gold combo. It's perfect to add to a simple jeans and t-shirt look or make a statement wearing it for a night out. I've seen it in person and it looks much more expensive than the $12 price tag it has.

Got a new jacket/blazer from H&M. It's reminds me of the digital prints from Alexander McQueen, but for waaayyyy less $! Got this lovely little number for $39.95. Tickets go on sale to the general public August 19 at 10:00am.
Tickets may be purchased online, by visiting the Alice Tully Hall or Avery Fisher Hall box office (Broadway at 65th), and by calling 212.721.6500.

What better way to kick off a celebration of fashion than with the largest public fashion show in New York City history! On September 7 at Lincoln Center, “Fashion’s Night Out: The Show,” produced by Vogue and SPEC Entertainment, will feature over 150 of the industry’s top models and give over 1,500 guests a look at Vogue’s key trends for the fall. The event will give shoppers PLENTY of inspiration to draw from while participating in FNO on September 10.
The event will be held at Lincoln Center’s Josie Robertson Plaza, located on Columbus Avenue between 62nd and 65th Streets. Guests seated in the North half will enter through 65th Street at Columbus Avenue. Guests seated in the South half will enter through 62nd Street at Columbus Avenue.
Doors open at 6:00 PM and close at 7:15 PM. No late seating will be accommodated.

Fall footwear under $50

So I've been on the hunt for bootie wedges for fall and I haven't had much luck. I have some great flat boots and heels but I wanted a wedge since it is the easiest for me to run around the city in and still have some height. The subway stairs and dodging tourists are not the easiest to do in high heels my friends!

I may have found just what I was looking at you guessed it Forever 21! I haven't browsed the shoe section online in quite some time and there they were. They are simple and have a classic shape that will go with so many things. I couldn't decide which color to get so I ordered the grey and black (also comes in tan). My fingers are crossed they will look equally fab when they arrive in the mail! I've already had a vision of how to jazz them up a bit...my vintage pins.

It's time I start thinking about fall... all the stores have summer stuff on sale and they are rolling out the sweaters, outerwear and everything that screams fall! So I'm finally giving in and starting to browse around for fall finds... these are my picks from American Eagle.

Suede Ballet Flat - $24.95 (was $29.50)

I have many pairs of AE ballet flats and I must say they are quite comfortable, they have super durable soles that are perfect for all my city walking. This flat comes in multiple colors, black is always a perfect basic but I'm especially loving the red.

Sweatshirt Dress - $39.50

I adore this dress! I love the casual look of the sweatshirt, but it has an unexpected girly touch with the ruffle hem, this is a great choice to wear now while its still warm and then layer with tights or leggings once the chill sets in. It also comes in blue, but I dig the grey.

The military trend is huge this fall. You will be seeing it everywhere. I'm jumping on the trend with my fall outerwear. This jacket is a perfect weight to transition.
