Sorry for the delay in posts but there have been some big changes going on in my life this past week! My boyfriend and I moved to Chicago, we packed up and got out just in time to beat Hurricane Irene!
The past 4 years in NYC has been one of the best times of my life, I've made so many amazing memories and so many of my dreams came true, but I'm ready for a new chapter to begin and to be closer to home.
This trend is going to be everywhere, I'm already seeing it in stores now. You can wear leopard to transition from summer into fall and it works in your closet so many ways. Shoes, dresses, bags, etc. so many options!
I currently have a major obsession going on with glitter. Glitter nail polish, glitter makeup and glitter shoes. Pretty much, if it sparkles I'll love it. I've become borderline crazy for a pair of shoes, they aren't just any shoes my friends. They are the most amazing, magical pair of shoes I've ever seen! Now if only I had $900 to drop on them... I'm a size 9.5 if anyone wants to buy them for me :)
I'm starting to put together my must haves for the fall season. Currently at the top of my list is a faux leopard jacket. This one by Tulle is just fabulous! I love that it will look great during the day or night, depending how its styled.
Over the weekend my friends and I visited a few wineries on Long Island, NY. We did tastings, had a picnic with lots of cheese (YUM) and just enjoyed spending the day outside. I always love strolling through a winery and seeing the vines and grapes growing.

A couple of my best friends from college came for a long weekend visit. We had a wonderful time catching up, exploring the big apple and going on a road trip to visit some Long Island wineries. Friends really do make my world go round!
I have a couple final summer events coming up and of course I find that a reason to get something new. I found this dress at Lulus and I just adore it, the color is amazing and the unique hemline can show off some of my fabulous shoes. It's also the perfect blank canvas for some major accessorizing. Dress it up!
With the launch of the Missoni for Target collaboration getting close they have finally released some of the looks from the collab. Only a small amount of looks were released and there is everything from bikes to scarves and all in those gorgeous Missoni prints! The collection launches Sept. 13, it's already in my calendar.
The fall season is going to be here before we know it. I've been enjoying my summer so much its hard for me to write about this but I have to find my inner fashion strength and push forward... to fall.
So many of us are already thinking sweaters, scarves and boots but one of the must have accessories for this season is a major hat, think 70's ultra chic. The floppy hat is going to be seen everywhere and I would say get on this trend early, you can get a great deal now and hang onto it to wear when the first bit of chill hits the air.
These past few weeks I've had a lot of visitors, summer in NYC is one of the best times to visit. I always try and take them to my favorite rooftop, the Press Lounge at Ink 48. It has amazing views, a chill atmosphere and stellar drinks.

The Karl Lagerfeld collection for Macys first images are finally here. The collection has a lot of black and white with pops of pink and floral. Tons of classic styles that you will want to wear forever and ever! Don't forget the collection hits stores and online August 31 and prices range from $50 to $170. These are my favorites.
I did a little weekend shopping and had to share my latest buy. This gorgeous knit sweater was on sale at Zara. I plan to wear it in a few months with skinny jeans and heels for a comfortable and casual look. Sweater - $19.99
