Shiny Things

How amazing is this sequin top? It reminds me of something I would find in a vintage store, but for half the price! It can be worn for day and night, its casual enough to be worn for a day out and about, but you can throw it off the shoulder for a fun and sassy night on the town look. 

Oh sequins, I love you dearly.

I'm so excited that I finally found the perfect casual sweater dress! It has a perfect over-sized fit and an overall cozy feel. The elbow patches and front pockets are fabulous finishing touches. I'm already dreaming up multiple ways to wear it; with leggings and boots or belted with some great tights.

Obsessed

I have to share my latest obsession, these jean leggings aka jeggins from Express! They are so comfortable, have a flattering fit and look amazing with just about any outfit. I bought in black since that's my go to pant color but I plan on scooping up multiple other colors.

Chic Antique

Hello, treasure!

This past weekend was simply fabulous! My cousin is getting married and she came into Chicago for a fun filled ladies weekend. We had some amazing meals, lots of laughs and did some great shopping! One of my favorite shops of the weekend was Chic Antique. It's located in Lakeview East, so if you are ever in the neighborhood I highly suggest stopping in! The small shop is filled with vintage treasures.  I got a couple of things that I'm totally obsessed with.

I was so overwhelmed by all the great pieces that I almost missed these! Thanks to my sister they are now mine, all mine! My seahorse collection lives on!

Grey Matters

Yesterday was the last day of warm weather Chicago is going to see for a while. I celebrated the sunshine with a sleeveless look. I got this vest last year and it's still one of my favorites. It's a perfect shade of grey and can be worn so many ways.

I hit up Forever 21 this weekend since I hadn't been in one for what felt like years and years. I didn't have a lot of time to I headed straight for the jewels. I picked up a bunch of goodies! Got to love those fab. forever finds! Jewelry is always a cheaper way to spice up some of your favorite looks.

Pumpkin

I've been having a major pumpkin moment lately. My boyfriend and I stopped by a local pumpkin patch this past week and had a fun time just walking around and enjoying the fall weather. So many pumpkins, but we didn't find a perfect one to carve yet...

Sparkle

I went to the mall for the first time in years last week and I must say it was a lovely time. I stopped into Express and found these sequin shorts that are amazing! I'm having a major crush on all this sequins right now. These shorts will be perfect with a casual tank and blazer or with a gorgeous thick knit sweater once it gets a little cooler out. Its love.

Flea Market

On Sunday I spent quite a few hours at the Kane County flea market. There were hundreds of vendors so it was a tad overwhelming but I stayed focused and wound up nabbing a few new treasures. This will definitely be one of my favorite places to hit!
