I swung by Forever 21 on Michigan Ave. and it is full on spring apparel in there! I love warm weather clothes so I was grinning ear to ear. I did a quick walk-thru (not much time to shop) and noticed these lady-like purses. I adore the shape and it comes with a cross body strap so its a double win!

I've been thinking about this bag since I left the store so I'll be heading back to buy. I'm going with orange, its a great pop of color and to be honest the images online don't reflect the true colors, they are bright and fun!

I've been rather obsessed with the idea of having a bird cage in my apt. No bird, just the cage. I saw one a long time ago that I had to have, but of course it just didn't fit in my NYC apt. I've been heartbroken ever since.

Once I find myself a fabulous bird cage I'm planning to make it a succulent planter of sorts. I saw this image on Pinterest and I must have one! If you see any bird cages let me know!

I love candles, they are a perfect way to create a more inviting space. For this past xmas I got a fabulous candle from my mom and I'm obsessed! (thx mom) The scent fills up the entire room and there is nothing better than that! You've got to have your basics. When I find a basic that works, I wear it all the time! For me tanks are an essential, I wear them all year round. Layered, under sweaters, blazers, tucked into skirts and with shorts in the summer. These are my two must have, never live without tanks.

Hello, treasure!

This past weekend was simply fabulous! My cousin is getting married and she came into Chicago for a fun filled ladies weekend. We had some amazing meals, lots of laughs and did some great shopping! One of my favorite shops of the weekend was Chic Antique. It's located in Lakeview East, so if you are ever in the neighborhood I highly suggest stopping in! The small shop is filled with vintage treasures. I got a couple of things that I'm totally obsessed with.

This past weekend I noticed a lot of garage sale signs popping up, I thought what a better way to spend my Saturday morning? I headed out for some suburban treasure hunting. I picked up a few books and this fabulous vintage faux fur jacket. I almost missed it among the rack of hooded sweatshirts, I tried it on, it fit like a glove and it's mine, all mine! The price was a steal too, $22!

When I first spotted this dress I was instantly obsessed. But I decided to let it marinate overnight, this is a new thing I'm doing so I don't keep buying, buying, buying. If I'm still in love the next day then I'll buy!

Visit a pumpkin patch.
Make glitter pumpkins like this.
Drinks lots of apple cider!
Eat lots of Mcintosh apples (my favorite).
Jump in a leaf pile.
Wear lots of faux fur.
Enjoy a bonfire with s'mores.
Make a trip to a local winery.
Go on a hike and enjoy the fall foliage.

A few weeks ago I received such an exciting email in my inbox . I was invited by Nordstrom Rack to come into a store for an exclusive shopping experience to begin building my fall wardrobe. I was given a gift card to pick out some great fall finds. There were so many great fall items to pick from; shoes, bags, faux fur, jewelry, sweaters and trousers galore. These are my favorite finds from Nordstrom Rack.

We had a fabulous time exploring Old San Juan, trying authentic Puerto Rican cuisine ( I'm now obsessed with Mofongo), drinking lots of sangria, and just relaxing after the crazy move to Chicago. I also got in some pool and beach time to enjoy the amazing sunshine.

I've had a serious obsession with all things leopard print lately. I love how fun, bold and playful the pattern is. I've had this leopard shirt for over a year, I bought it a few sizes big to get that over sized look. It's also pretty long so it also doubles as swimsuit cover up when I go on vacation. Nothing like getting multiple uses out of one piece!

I spent Labor Day weekend in my hometown visiting family and friends. It was great to get out to the country and relax. Sorry for the delay in posts but there have been some big changes going on in my life this past week! My boyfriend and I moved to Chicago, we packed up and got out just in time to beat Hurricane Irene!

The past 4 years in NYC has been one of the best times of my life, I've made so many amazing memories and so many of my dreams came true, but I'm ready for a new chapter to begin and to be closer to home.

I currently have a major obsession going on with glitter. Glitter nail polish, glitter makeup and glitter shoes. Pretty much, if it sparkles I'll love it. I've become borderline crazy for a pair of shoes, they aren't just any shoes my friends. They are the most amazing, magical pair of shoes I've ever seen! Now if only I had $900 to drop on them... The fall season is going to be here before we know it. I've been enjoying my summer so much its hard for me to write about this but I have to find my inner fashion strength and push forward... to fall.

So many of us are already thinking sweaters, scarves and boots but one of the must have accessories for this season is a major hat, think 70's ultra chic. The floppy hat is going to be seen everywhere and I would say get on this trend early, you can get a great deal now and hang onto it to wear when the first bit of chill hits the air.

While out and about shopping with my parentals this weekend we headed to the East Village to check out some boutiques. One of my fabulous scores was a skirt from Fab 208 NYC. I first came across this dress in a mailer I got from Macy's. I couldn't find the dress when I searched online and I really didn't want to face the crowds of Macy's Herald Square, so I decided to wait it out to see if it would show up on macys.com. I'm glad I did, the dress is equally as fabulous as I thought it would be. I adore the color block look, the knotted neckline and that I can dress it up with heels and gold accessories or just keep it simple and casual.
